About World Link Partners

World Link Partners was established in 1997. It is a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit corporation. Our work builds upon 20 years of academic travel, living and working in developing countries. Currently we are working in two countries, Guatemala and Mongolia.

Our work began in Guatemala in 1997 with micro-credit for the establishment of small communal “banks” for women. We provided training in business and financial management to develop and strengthen small businesses. We are expanding our work to provide funding for organizations involved in community projects including educational training, housing, nourishment, water supply systems, etc.

In 2002 World Link expanded its work into Mongolia where, we are working with two projects; a children's center and school in conjunction with the city of Ulaanbaatar, and providing partial financial support for an orphanage in the city of Darkhan. We also provide of gers (Mongolian houses), plus disbursement of food, clothing and fuel.

In 2005 we moved to Antigua, Guatemala because we felt that it was increasingly important to be on-site with the projects we are supporting. This provides more opportunity to work closely with projects, the people working with humanitarian projects, and travelers who may want to become involved with projects.

More detailed information about the projects we provide support for is outlined on our "projects" page. Visit WLP's website.

This website is dedicated to the brave people of Guatemala who have not stopped since day 1 to help their brothers in need.
